LINDA & WOUTER VAN DER TOORN · MEDIA DIRECTORS
Core Focus Photography consists of Linda and Wouter who work together to capture the essence of a show in image and film.
Linda is a professional photographer who is specialised in concert and theatre photography. Wouter is a freelance videographer who creates videos and promos for shows.
Core Focus Photography aims to capture the passion with which performers get across their message through their music to an audience. The interaction between performers on stage, the humour, dynamics and emotion. All those moments capture what makes a show or concert special. That is what we want to capture. A blues guitarist who’s caught up in a song or the meaning of a song, captured by the expression of a performer, communicated through a picture…. In short, the essence, the “Core”.
Core Focus Photography had been working with Icon theatrical for over three years and has been there to capture those special moments on stage for The Sopranos and The Tenors. Besides Icon Theatrical, Core Focus Photography has had the pleasure of being part of some other wonderful productions like The Queen Experience, The Blues Brothers, Mr. Boogie Woogie, One Night of Queen and The Westenders.
